Enrollment Process

You've toured the facilities and interviewed. You've read through the parent handbook
and enrollment contract. You are sure that GFC is the best fit for your family's needs
and you've spoken with Ali - she agrees! Now what?
Enrollment Process

STEP 1: Enrollment paperwork must be turned in before your child begins care:

Enrollment Packet
Enrollment Contract
First & last weeks of tuition
Without these completed documents, which must be updated annually, I cannot care for your child. I must have all the important information and up-to-date phone numbers in order to provide the best possible care for your child.

STEP 2: Medical information about your child must be given to me within one (1)
month from the day your child begins care.

There are three (3) pieces of medical information I will need:
A statement from a physician or healthcare professional that says your child received a physical
exam within the past year
Evidence that your child has been immunized as recommended by the Department of Public Health If your child is nine (9) months of age, 1, 2, or 3 years old, a statement from a physician or healthcare professional which says that your child has been screened for lead poisoning.

STEP 3: What to Send With Your Child:

- wipes
- diapers
- nutritious lunch
- napping items (crib sheet. optional: blanket, stuffed animal, etc.)
- appropriate outdoor gear for current season (summer: swim attire, water shoes, hat;
winter: coat, boots, hat, mittens, snow pants; fall/spring: rain jacket, rubber boots,
umbrella). Clothes will get dirty while they are playing.
- at least one full change of clothes, several if your child is toilet training
- a 4x6 family photo for our family tree

What to Keep at Home - Please do NOT send these items
- toys
- candy, gum, medicine, cough drops
- chap stick, perfume, lip stick, nail polish, etc
- money, real or pretend
- electronic devices, phones, iPads, Kindles, cameras, computers/laptops

Prior to your child's first day, there is opportunity for up to 2 drop in play dates. The purpose of the play
date is to familiarize your child with the program, allow you to bring in any remaining paperwork or
supplies, and to answer any additional questions. Please speak with Ali to determine availability and scheduling.
