Safe At Home: availability & project idea

Due to the dramatic increase in covid19 transmission over the last few weeks,  GFC will continue to be closed. Please add your name to the waiting list if you would like to be contacted for a spot that would potentially be available in April.

Families interested in being added to the waiting list for a child care spot may complete this form: https://forms.gle/BbmUkrxuf47CCjbA7

In the meantime, we will be doing some fun projects safely at home! Today we are making pictures with rainbow glue.

To make rainbow glue, I used 6 bottles of school glue and acrylic paint. It mixes best when the glue bottle is 3/4 full. Add 3-4 drops of paint for each color you'd like to make.

If you use a plastic surface, like a dinner plate, then you can peel the glue off when it is dry to use as a window cling. It takes several days to dry before you can peel it off.

This is a great activity for strengthening hands for writing, hand eye coordination, self expression, and vocabulary building.
