Menu

Snacks will be provided by gfc.
Snacks will include a mix of individually wrapped choices that meet health and nutrition guidelines outlined by DEEC.

AM Snack

Morning snack is served at 9:20am.

Lunch
Lunch is served at 12:30pm. Please send a nutritious lunch from home. I recommend reading this article to help guide how much food and what types of foods should be sent.
Sending too many choices can be just as overwhelming and frustrating as not sending enough healthy food choices.
Generally, 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of each 1 protein, 1 fruit, 1 vegetable, 1 grain, and 1 dairy item is enough food for lunch.

Please do not send candy, treats, or dessert.

Snack
Snack will be served at 300pm.

Drinks
Fresh city water will be available throughout each day. Open cups are always available indoors and water bottles go outside with us.

Allergies
My home is not set up as an allergy free environment. If your child has a food allergy, please get in touch to discuss your options. I am CPR and first aid certified through the American Heart Association, which includes training for epinephrine pens.

Infant/Young Toddler
Formula, breast milk, baby food, and teething biscuits will be sent in from home. Toddlers who are eating solids will be offered breakfast and snack with the group, but will be able to eat on their own schedule until they are ready.
