Setting up shop! Mixing color seasons mural

I finally had time to do the last mural planned for the playroom. It is a grove of trees that fade from summer, fall, winter, to spring.

My hope is that my students feel free to use color for expression and not to be inside the box. Brown and green trees? Sometimes but not always.

I added little details at the bottom to suggest each season as it passes. Grad for summer. Leaves for fall. Snow for winter. Flowers for spring.

I used clip art sillouette that I found on Google images for my basic tree shape. The plan was done with colored pencils and the mural was done with charcoal and acrylic.

Outline with some colors for Summer and Spring.

Added more color for Fall.
