Meet Our New Friends!

A friend had a frog lay eggs in their pool before cleaning it up for summer. We're going to keep a few of them to watch their metamorphosis!

Today's observations included that:
- they are in water
- they eat with mouths
- they have big heads and long tails

Pictured here: a incoming 1st grader is writing sentences about their polywog observations.

At gfc, learning is never forced. Children are trusted to engage and reflect at their own level of understanding and interest. This allows them time and space to be themselves while being exposed to a variety of topics and experiences. It is not only fun to see all of their personalities and points of view, but they also learn from their friends.
