Just across the street from gfc, this program is great for school aged children. We still have the wall hook my son made at the blacksmiths!
The “Old Chelmsford” Garrison House Association is offering a limited enrollment Summer History Program on two separate days, Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for boys and girls, ages 9 to 13.
Our purpose is to introduce students to our historic facility, tools and artifacts and to give them an appreciation for the past by a hands-on experience with this valuable resource.
There will be a fee of $20 per day for the program. Included will be a morning and an afternoon class with background and history of the subject, followed by a hands-on in some phase of the subject. Classes are limited; early registration is suggested.
