We are getting ready for our spring art show! Today we take about rhythm and movement.
First, we will took off our shoes. We talked about how it feels to feel the rug with our feet.
We danced to fast and slow music. How does it feel if you move fast or slow?
Then we listened to the same music while painting- with our feet!! It tickled quite a bit to get paint on our feet. Then it felt slimy and a little slippery on the paper. I held their hands for support while they made two paintings.
One painting is with fast music, the other is with slow music. Can you look at the rhythm and movement on the paper and figure out which is which?
