Gearing up for a great year!!

 All kinds of great things are happening at gfc over the summer.

Safety around every corner

This summer we are upgrading: siding, exterior doors, radon mitigation, basement sump pump, and outdoor water mitigation. These will keep our play spaces clean, dry, and safe all year round.

We are also having the playground and patio area refinished. New grass, new leveled pavers, and a revamped play space will be put inside of the fenced area. Not only will this make it safer by removing uneven surfaces, but the space will be utilized better for children ages zero and up!

Getting ready for younger friends

gfc has focused on providing preschool programming for the past few years. With the new playground space, enrollment can be a bit more flexible. We're getting ready for a younger crew to come in this year. I'm expecting a group of children ages 1-3. 

That means we will be focusing on social skills, gross motor activities, language, sensory explorations, and open ended activities. Our infant and toddler friends will have clean open spaces to move and explore. Our younger preschool friends will have time and space to share stories, play pretend, experiment, journal, read, and build. 

I love this mix of ages! Our older friends are able to model and share all of the great things they know and can do. Our younger friends are encouraged to try new things and keep up with the "big" kids! It's a great balance.

All families must tour in person before registering. After your tour, the first two weeks and a payment contract is due. That holds your spot for the year!
